Young man riding motorbike at high speed, crashed straight into traffic police on duty

According to initial information, at around 7:39 p.m. on January 17, a working group of the Traffic Police Department of Ha Tinh Province was on duty to check alcohol concentration on Ha Huy Tap Street (Ha Tinh City).

At that time, suddenly a young man driving a motorbike at high speed crashed straight into Mr. T. (an officer of the Traffic Police Department, Ha Tinh Provincial Police). After crashing into the policeman, the young man lost control of his motorbike and fell onto the road.

It is known that the young man who crashed his car into the traffic police is a male student in grade 12 in Ha Tinh city. He suffered minor injuries after falling on the road.

The case is currently being clarified.

Previously, on December 20, 2023, Hung Nguyen District Police, Nghe An Province also prosecuted To Ba Hoai Nam (18 years old) for the crime of Intentional Infliction of Injury.

According to the investigation, at around 2:00 p.m. on December 11, 2023, a working group from the Traffic Police and Order Team of Hung Nguyen District Police coordinated with the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police to set up a checkpoint to check alcohol concentration on National Highway 46, through Block 9, Hung Nguyen Town.

Seeing Nam driving a motorbike from Vinh city to Hung Nguyen district without a helmet and without a rearview mirror, the working group signaled him to stop for inspection.

However, this young man did not comply, drove at high speed to pass the alcohol concentration measurement checkpoint, and hit Major Nguyen Xuan Canh (37 years old). The collision caused Major Canh to fall on the road, broke his leg, and had to be taken to a hospital in Hanoi for treatment.
