The first "Thanh Sen Lantern Parade" festival held in Ha Tinh city has left a good impression in the hearts of every local and tourist about a unique cultural feature, bringing an unforgettable experience to many people.
According to the statistics of the Department of Culture and Information of Ha Tinh city, after 2 nights of organization (from September 23 to 24), the "Thanh Sen Mid-Autumn Festival" attracted about 9,000 people to participate. The festival is not only attractive to local people but also attracts the love of tourists.

Nguyen Hai Nam (Dong Mon commune, Ha Tinh city) said: “The lanterns look so giant and funny, close to children. I really like it and hope that the festival will continue to be held in the following years so that we can have more useful and interesting playgrounds during the Mid-Autumn Festival.”
Joining in the festival atmosphere, Mr. Nguyen Chinh (Nam Ha ward, Ha Tinh city) shared: "This is the first time a large-scale lantern procession festival has been held in Ha Tinh city. I took advantage of my free time to take my child to the street to enjoy the festival so that his childhood would have more memorable memories. This is also an opportunity for the family to gather together, to give love and care to the children."

Mid-Autumn Festival is now not only a festival for children, but also for the elderly, young people, and every family. Under the talented hands and unique creativity of the people, fairy tales, fables, scenic spots... were realized by the people of wards and communes in Ha Tinh city into 108 magical and shimmering lantern models.

Up to now, the ward is still the leading unit in both scale and aesthetics, the sophistication of the model. Each model bears the mark of creativity and solidarity of the people. It is a product that fully converges the people's strength in both material and spiritual aspects, not only socialized residential groups but also businesses and philanthropists contribute".
The model of Uncle Ho's Mausoleum of Dong Mon commune leads the parade.
Along with Nguyen Du ward, Dong Mon commune people also left a deep impression in the hearts of festival participants with the model of Uncle Ho's Mausoleum.
Mr. Ho Sy Giao - Secretary of Lien Cong village Party Cell shared: "The model is a creative, unique work, conveying all the enthusiasm and intelligence of the people. The model of Uncle Ho's Mausoleum is completely handmade; expressing the wishes, joy and hope of children to visit Uncle Ho's Mausoleum. This is also the humanistic meaning of the festival, all the best things are for children. We feel proud to contribute our efforts and hope to continue to participate in the festival in the following years."
The "Thanh Sen lantern parade" festival is not only a festival for children but also a festival for the whole people.
Besides the fairy-tale mascots, the sparkling star lanterns created by the creative hands of the "non-professional artisans" in Thach Linh ward added more brilliant colors to the festival.
“Memories of moonlit nights from my youth, following my friends to make star lanterns, inspired me to start shaping and shaping each lantern. What makes me happiest is the excitement, joy, and care of the children towards their work. Through that, I contribute a small part to preserving traditional cultural identity for future generations” - Mr. Nguyen Hong Ha (Thach Linh ward, Ha Tinh city) was moved.
