With the Tan Duc Industrial Park project (area of 300 hectares) in Tan Minh commune, over the past year, the investor has broken ground and started construction of phase 1 items according to the granted license. Through monitoring, Lam Dong Industrial Park Management Board said that the first phase of the project is currently basically completed with about 90% of the items. Including the construction of internal traffic routes, lighting systems, water pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants, etc. In addition, the local electricity industry is investing in a 22 kV power grid to serve the industrial park. Currently, Tan Duc Industrial Park has attracted 1 domestic investment project (registered capital of 100 billion VND), and at the same time, promoting land lease agreements with 7 other projects (total registered capital of 1,600 billion VND).

Meanwhile, the Son My 1 Industrial Park (area of 1,070 hectares) in Son My commune was also started by the investor at the end of August 2022. Here, 3 projects have been approved for investment with a total registered capital of 5.4 billion USD. However, up to now, Son My 1 Industrial Park has not yet started construction due to difficulties in completing procedures for land rent exemption to hand over the site as prescribed; on the other hand, site clearance has encountered many difficulties... In Son My commune, there is also the Son My 2 Industrial Park project - phase 1 (area of 468.35 hectares) which is being urged to speed up site clearance in accordance with the prescribed order and procedures.

During the implementation process, the above mentioned industrial parks need to focus on removing obstacles and difficulties to contribute to promoting the progress of project implementation. For example, the appraisal and approval of compensation plans to pay compensation for the remaining 33 files/7.3 hectares (for residential land and agricultural land in residential areas) at Tan Duc Industrial Park is still slow and prolonged. In addition, the intersection of National Highway 1A into Tan Duc Industrial Park has not yet been completed due to compensation and clearance problems... For Son My 1 Industrial Park, the land acquisition, compensation and clearance work in the priority area of 375 hectares is still slow, in which 7 organizations/226.86 hectares have not agreed with the compensation plan. Similarly, at Son My 2 Industrial Park - phase 1, it is noted that the work of land acquisition, compensation, clearance, and selection of land price construction consulting units is also slow.

To resolve difficulties and obstacles for the province's coastal industrial parks, recently, the Lam Dong Industrial Park Management Board has proposed specific solutions for each project. As for Tan Duc Industrial Park, it is recommended that the Provincial People's Committee direct relevant departments, branches and localities (Tan Minh commune) to focus on accelerating the completion of compensation and clearance for the remaining cases and the intersection of National Highway 1A into the industrial park. Along with that, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center will soon establish a Regional Land Fund Development Center to implement compensation and site clearance for the project according to regulations...

For the Son My 1 Industrial Park and Son My 2 Industrial Park projects - phase 1, in addition to implementing compensation and site clearance according to plan, it is also requested that relevant departments and units support and guide the People's Committee of Son My commune to carry out the work of determining specific land prices, compensation, and land recovery according to regulations... Particularly, the infrastructure investors of industrial park projects need to actively coordinate to complete compensation and site clearance, prepare sufficient funds to pay compensation and focus on accelerating the progress of infrastructure construction according to the granted construction permit.

At the end of July 2025, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi visited and inspected the Tan Duc Industrial Park, Son My 1 Industrial Park, Son My 2 Industrial Park - Phase 1 in the coastal area of Lam Dong. Thereby, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant parties to proactively coordinate to remove difficulties and obstacles to contribute to promoting the progress of industrial park infrastructure construction, creating conditions for secondary projects to soon be deployed and put into operation...
