On the morning of January 31 (the 3rd day of Tet), Lam Thao town, Lam Thao district held the opening ceremony of the Spring Festival of the year At Ty 2025 with many rich cultural activities.
The Spring Festival of the Year of the Snake 2025 is a traditional cultural beauty organized annually by Lam Thao town every time Tet comes and Spring comes. Through festival activities, it contributes to educating the tradition of "Drinking water, remember its source", preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of the homeland, and at the same time promoting the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" in residential areas in the area.
After the Opening Ceremony, Lam Thao town organized a procession of the five-fruit tray and five-color cakes from the house of the Chief Priest in Tien Moi area to the Third Lady Temple (also known as the Lady's House Temple) in Tan Trung area (the main temple) and held a ceremony.
The Spring Festival of Lam Thao town takes place from the 3rd to the 7th of January (lunar calendar) with many unique cultural and artistic activities such as offering incense at local relics; carrying the palanquins of the Queen Mother and the King Father (ie Princess Nguyet Cu and her husband Ly Van Lang) from Dong Chan communal house to the main temple (Nha Ba Temple) and festival activities associated with the custom of Hat Xoan in the country of Nghia to promote and introduce to tourists from all over the world the traditional cultural beauty of the locality.
