Domestic gold market had no fluctuations at the weekend

(GLO)- In the last two trading days of the week (August 16 and 17), domestic gold prices continued to remain stable, with no recorded increases or decreases. Currently, the average trading price is at 123.5-124.5 million VND/tael.

Specifically, SJC, PNJ, DOJI , and Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the two-way buying and selling prices at 123.5-124.5 million VND/tael. Mi Hong continued to narrow the gap between buying and selling to only 500,000 VND when listing the buying price at 124 million VND/tael. Meanwhile, Phu Quy is listing at a lower price when buying at only 122.7 million VND/tael.

The gold ring market has listed prices depending on each enterprise. In which, SJC is trading at 116.6-119.1 million VND/tael; Bao Tin Minh Chau is listed at 116.8-119.8 million VND/tael; Mi Hong is priced at 117.5-119 million VND/tael; Phu Quy is currently priced at 116.4-119.4 million VND/tael.

The world gold price today decreased by 3.05 USD/ounce in the past 24 hours (equivalent to a decrease of 0.09%), with the spot gold price currently at 3,335.06 USD/ounce (equivalent to about 106.4 million VND/tael converted according to Vietcombank exchange rate, excluding taxes and fees).

The Kitco News weekly gold survey shows that a majority of Wall Street experts expect the market to continue moving sideways, while a majority of Main Street investors still believe gold prices could rise next week.
