Along with Running Man Vietnam, a series of Reality shows and entertainment game shows have also been announced for production such as All-round Rookie, Team 1 No 2, Em xinh say hi, 2 days 1 night, Brilliant Journey...

In 2024, a series of music reality shows such as Anh trai say hi, Anh trai vu ngan cong gai, Chi dep dap gio... demonstrated strong appeal, shaking up the music listening market on digital platforms, and at the same time creating "stormy" concerts with thousands of audiences racing to get tickets.

Game shows in 2025 are expected to be more diverse and rich in terms of genre and content, and not just focused on music.

A series of artists are predicted to appear in upcoming game shows. In recent years, many artists have been living off of... game shows, enjoying large incomes, nurturing their reputations with game shows, and being lazy about artistic activities.

Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc used to be an expected name of Vietnamese movies when participating in Endless Field, Old Girl with Many Tricks... However, in the past 3 years, Lan Ngoc has been somewhat indulged in game shows, participating in many entertainment programs, and at the same time entering the singing field despite her limited voice.

Many names like Truong Giang, Lam Vi Da, Kieu Minh Tuan, Ngo Kien Huy, Thuy Ngan... appeared on shows like 2 days 1 night, 7 spring smiles... As for HIEUTHUHAI, before participating in Anh trai say hi and making his mark in music, he was considered a "gameshow rapper" because he mainly appeared on game shows.

Many new names for artists have begun to appear. Instead of the titles of singers and actors, many showbiz stars now call themselves "entertainers" because, apart from participating in game shows, they have almost no professional activities.

What do artists get if they only play game shows?

This is the salary that the producer supports for makeup, hair, and travel costs for artists. Normally, artists participating in music game shows will have a higher salary than the average. For artists who are judges on game shows, the salary will be calculated by project, not by episode. Depending on each game show, they can earn from several hundred million to several billion VND."

Game shows and reality TV are bringing in good income for artists, and also helping their images spread to a large television audience.

However, as singer Truc Nhan said: "The value of an artist must lie in his personal product." In 2024, Truc Nhan refused to participate in the show Anh Trai to invest time and effort in his personal product. After becoming the runner-up of Anh Trai Say Hi, RHYDER shared that reality TV is just a stepping stone to help spread his name, from there, artists must invest to have their own "personality", their own musical ego on the journey to assert themselves.

To go the long way, to affirm talent and personality, to build personal brand, artists need artistic products.

For a long time, Truong Giang has not appeared on Vietnamese screens like when he played in “Lat mat” or “49 days”. Lan Ngoc is also at risk of being dethroned as “the pearl of the screen” when a new generation of actors is rising, many singers and beauty queens are entering the film industry.
