The Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board informed that before the Lunar New Year 2025, a series of traffic projects will be completed simultaneously. The projects will be opened to traffic and put into use from January 20.
In the west of the city, the construction of the new Tan Ky Tan Quy bridge and Ba Hom bridge (Binh Tan district) will open to traffic on January 20 and January 26, respectively. At the Tan Son Nhat gateway area, the project to expand Hoang Hoa Tham street (Tan Binh district) will open to traffic on January 20.
The Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa connecting road will open phase 1 from Phan Thuc Duyen tunnel to Hoang Hoa Tham, and complete all three connection points from the road to T3 terminal.
As for the remaining section from Hoang Hoa Tham to the end of the route, the Tan Binh District People's Committee plans to complete the handover of the site by February 20, so the entire route will be completed and open to traffic before April 30, ready to serve the T3 terminal when it comes into operation.
In Go Vap district, the first phase of the Duong Quang Ham road expansion project opened to traffic on January 20. The remaining section will be opened to traffic after the Electricity Corporation completes the underground work and relocation of electric poles on April 30.
In Thu Duc City, a branch of Tang Long Bridge and the expansion of Luong Dinh Cua Street (from Nguyen Hoang to Tran Nao intersection) also opened to traffic before Tet.
Two items of the An Phu intersection project, Ba Dat bridge and Giong Ong To 2 bridge, were completed before Tet but not yet put into operation. They will be opened to traffic synchronously with An Phu intersection on December 31.
In addition, the project to upgrade and renovate Hang Bang canal through District 5 was also inaugurated on January 20.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, from the beginning of 2024 until now, the unit has opened 10 projects to traffic.
These are the projects: Ten Lua Street, Nam Ly Bridge, Ong Bon Bridge, Rach Dia Bridge, Phuoc Long Bridge, National Highway 50 parallel road phase 1, Tan Ky Tan Quy Street, two underpasses of the Nguyen Van Linh - Nguyen Huu Tho intersection project...
