Collected more than 130 tons of garbage in 4 nights of fireworks display

DNO - On the morning of June 30, Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company announced that in the 4th competition night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Competition - DIFF 2024, the company coordinated with units, armed forces, youth union members, students, volunteers... to collect 31.1 tons of garbage, bringing the total amount of garbage collected in 4 competition nights to more than 130 tons.

Accordingly, on the 4th night, the amount of garbage collected decreased compared to the 2nd and 3rd nights, mainly waste with very light density, especially plastic waste such as: styrofoam food boxes, plastic bottles, disposable plastic cups... and many convenient raincoats brought by people to the areas to spread on the sidewalk to watch the fireworks.

However, with the joint efforts and shared responsibility of units, forces, volunteers... the work of collecting, picking up trash, cleaning streets and sidewalks, transporting trash... is carried out urgently, quickly returning clean and beautiful streets and sidewalks.
