Thu Phuong, Uyen Linh, Lan Ngoc participate in 'Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves 2023'

Announcing the Vietnamese version in June 2023, the show "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves" has received a lot of attention from the audience. After much speculation about the list of 30 female artists participating, the organizers have just announced the first 4 names of the show. They all have different colors, personalities and stories.

The first female artist confirmed to participate in the program is singer Thu Phuong. Sharing about this bold decision, Thu Phuong said: "This is the first time the program has appeared in Vietnam, there will definitely be many surprises and receive public attention. I want to meet and chat with my colleagues through this program. Therefore, I decided to participate."

As one of the famous voices of Vietnam in the 1990s, Thu Phuong will have to face the challenge of performing in a group according to the show's rules.

Sharing about this, she said: "I always think that when performing in a group, there will be a collision of emotions, thoughts, perspectives and professional angles. That is also what attracts me."

Thu Phuong surprised everyone when she became a contestant at the age of 51.

Uyen Linh is also an interesting unknown when joining the lineup of 30 beautiful ladies in the program. The singer born in 1987 talked about her decision to join the program: "I think this is a special program because just thinking about the workload of the crew, I already see it as massive and huge."

At the same time, Uyen Linh hopes that when participating in the program, she will learn more and have good relationships with other female artists. " I hope to have the opportunity to sit down with the beautiful ladies to hear more stories when standing together on stage or behind the scenes," she said.

Uyen Linh is an interesting unknown of the show.

The presence of Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc in the list of 30 contestants of Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves 2023 surprised the audience.

Talking about the actress participating in singing competitions, the beauty born in 1990 shared: “This is an entertainment program to send the audience impressive performances and many new things expressed in the form of a band. Therefore, the audience will not be too constrained or scrutinized because this is not a professional music competition. So I do not put too much emphasis on singing because it is not my strength.”

Lan Ngoc also frankly admitted that singing is not her forte. The female lead of "Just Go and Cry" said she will focus on her forte, which is dancing, because she won the title of champion of Dancing with the Stars 2015.

Lan Ngoc will focus on her dancing expertise.

As a program for female artists over 30 years old, Lan Ngoc expressed her opinion that modern women do not place importance on age, especially artists.

“The older I get, the more experience I gain and thanks to that, my career develops a lot. When I enter my 30s, women will become more mature and calmer, and I am a proof. In the past, I was quite impulsive. But when I entered a mature age, I found myself starting to focus more on inner values, thinking about many things and building clear plans in life. At the age of 30, I am much younger than when I was 20 because I no longer have to determine the direction of my life,” she confided.

Ha Kino is the fourth beauty to appear on the show. She is a professional catwalk model with a strong personality. Coming to the show, Ha Kino is expected to become a breakthrough factor because singing and dancing are not her strengths.

Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves is predicted to be the most anticipated reality TV show of 2023 with the gathering of 30 Vietnamese female artists working in many different professions in the entertainment field.

The program will air at 9:15 p.m. every Saturday starting October 28 on VTV3 channel.
