Prime Minister approves Danang Software Park No. 2

DNVN - On October 22, the Prime Minister issued a decision approving the expansion of the Danang Software Park (DSP) with the name Danang Software Park No. 2 invested by the Danang People's Committee.

The Danang Software Park IT Zone has been recognized by the Prime Minister as an IT Zone since December 2017. In Decision 1238/QD-TTg (dated October 22, 2024), the Prime Minister approved the expansion of the Danang Software Park IT Zone with the name Danang Software Park No. 2.

Danang Software Park No. 2

Accordingly, Danang Software Park No. 2 has a land area of ​​28,573m2 (located in Thuan Phuoc ward, Hai Chau district, Danang city). The scope of Danang Software Park No. 2 is determined in Decision 4179/QD-UBND (dated September 17, 2019) of Danang City People's Committee approving the construction planning at a scale of 1/500 of Danang Software Park No. 2.

According to Decision 1238/QD-TTg, Danang IT Park No. 2 ensures to perform according to the functions and tasks of the IT park as prescribed in Article 4 of Decree 154/2013/ND-CP (dated November 8, 2013) of the Government .

Enterprises implementing projects in the IT sector investing in Da Nang Software Park No. 2 are entitled to incentives prescribed in Decree 154/2013/ND-CP of the Government and other preferential policies applicable to concentrated IT parks according to the provisions of law.

Decision 1238/QD-TTg takes effect from the date of signing. The organizational structure and operating regulations of the management organization of Danang PMU No. 2 are decided by the People's Committee of Danang City; implemented according to the provisions of Decree 154/2013/ND-CP and other provisions of law.

The Prime Minister assigned the People's Committee of Da Nang City to coordinate with relevant ministries, branches and agencies to organize the implementation of Decision 1238/QD-TTg, ensuring the investment in construction, management and operation of Da Nang Software Park No. 2 effectively and in accordance with regulations.
