LANG SON PROVINCIAL LIBRARY TRANSPORTS BOOKS AND SIGNED A COORDINATION AGREEMENT ON BOOK TRANSPORTATION AT THE PROVINCIAL DRUG REHABILITATION FACILITY

On the afternoon of July 21, Lang Son Provincial Library organized a book rotation program, donated books to students and signed a book rotation coordination agreement with the Provincial Drug Rehabilitation Center. The program was attended by representatives of the Provincial Library's leadership and staff; leaders, staff and students of the Lang Son Provincial Drug Rehabilitation Center.

At the program, representatives of the Library Leadership and the Provincial Drug Rehabilitation Center signed a cooperation agreement and handed over more than 200 books of many genres: life skills books, psychology - education , literature books, short stories, law books and health books. In addition, the library also donated newspapers and magazines to the drug rehabilitation center's bookshelf to supplement the source of documents to serve the diverse reading needs of students.

The program aims to develop a reading culture and build the habit of reading books and newspapers in the student community; at the same time, to propagate and raise awareness of the harmful effects of drugs, strengthen drug prevention and control and disseminate legal knowledge, actively support education, training and learning at the facility. Through reading books and newspapers, students have an additional useful information channel to learn about economics, politics , culture, education, health care and self-development. From there, it contributes to changing thinking, raising awareness in a positive way, helping students build a better life and form a long-term reading habit.

Overview of the program to conclude the convention on book circulation coordination

This is a regular activity of Lang Son Provincial Library to implement projects and plans to develop reading culture in the community, bring books to remote areas, special educational institutions and vulnerable groups in society. The Provincial Library hopes to continue to receive the support of units, organizations and individuals to replicate the model of "books for everyone" throughout the province./.
