On behalf of the unit, Colonel Nguyen Thai Duong, Deputy Political Commissar of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command, reported on the results of implementing the grassroots democracy regulations in the first 6 months of the year; directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2023. In the first 6 months of the year, the Regional Command has thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the resolutions, directives and regulations of the Party, State, Army and Coast Guard force on building and promoting grassroots democracy; Party committees and commanders of agencies and units in the entire Regional Command have regularly paid attention to and strengthened leadership and direction, improving the quality and effectiveness of implementing the regulations. The Regional Command has issued many documents to maximize the ownership of all soldiers in all aspects of work and activities, building a unit with a democratic, open, united and highly unified atmosphere, successfully completing all assigned tasks.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Tran Van Xuan acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the results of implementing the grassroots democracy regulations in all aspects of work of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command.

In the coming time, he requested that agencies and units in the entire Coast Guard Region 4 Command need to strengthen the work of disseminating and educating tasks, building the determination of officers and soldiers, focusing on grasping and managing the ideological situation, law enforcement and discipline of the troops. Build a relationship of solidarity and unity, promote the pioneering and exemplary role of Party committee members and commanders at all levels in leading and directing the good implementation of grassroots democracy regulations; ensure the regimes and standards for soldiers according to regulations, especially the care and attention for soldiers with families in difficult circumstances to contribute to stabilizing and improving their lives.
