Firefighting practice at Lien Son Fire Prevention and Fighting Inter-family Group

The Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department (PCCC) and Rescue and Search and Rescue (CNCH), Thai Nguyen Provincial Police, has just coordinated to organize a fire fighting and rescue plan practice at the Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Inter-family Group, Lien Son Residential Group, Pho Yen Ward.

In a hypothetical situation, at 2:00 p.m., a fire broke out at Galaxy 2 Hotel and threatened to spread to surrounding households. The cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit, causing the fire to spread rapidly and produce a lot of toxic smoke, directly threatening the lives and property of people in the area.

As soon as the incident was discovered, the members of the Inter-family Group quickly shouted, raised the alarm, cut off the power source and used on-site fire fighting equipment to control the fire. At the same time, they moved the property to a safe place and called 114 for the Fire Police and Rescue force.

Upon receiving the news, within a short time, the professional fire fighting force of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department arrived at the scene. Under unified command, the soldiers quickly deployed their formation, used water jets to extinguish the fire and cool it down, preventing the fire from spreading to adjacent houses. Rescue work was also carried out urgently to rescue trapped people.

At the end of the internship, the units evaluated and learned from experience to further improve the coordination process in practice.

This activity helps people raise awareness, equip themselves with knowledge and practice skills to handle fire and explosion situations right in residential areas; strengthen coordination between fire safety teams, civil defense forces, local police and professional fire police when there is a fire or explosion incident.
