The Provincial People's Council Standing Committee held the 38th meeting

On April 12, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, term XI, 2021-2026, held its 38th meeting. Comrades: Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting. Attending were comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades members of the Provincial Party Committee, Heads of the Provincial People's Council Committees and a number of relevant departments and branches.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council approved the Draft Regulations on monitoring and evaluating the activities of the Delegation and Delegates of the Provincial People's Council, term XI, 2021-2026. The Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council reported the results of the examination of the advance payment of provincial budget capital in 2024 to implement the Song Than reservoir project; the results of the examination of the adjustment of the state budget expenditure estimate in 2024. The Culture - Social Committee reported the results of consulting on the establishment of a team of social opinion collaborators in the province.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the People's Council, the Provincial People's Council committees to coordinate with all levels and functional branches to continue reviewing and carefully studying legal regulations on related issues to serve as a legal basis to supplement and complete the reports to ensure that the contents and work are carried out in accordance with legal regulations and in accordance with the local situation. In order to accurately evaluate the Provincial People's Council delegates, the Provincial People's Council delegation groups are required to closely monitor the activities of the members through participating in meetings with voters and implementing tasks assigned by the delegation groups. Regarding the implementation of the Song Than reservoir project, the Provincial People's Committee is required to further enhance its responsibility in directing and operating, selecting qualified contractors to ensure the project is implemented on schedule.
