The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee approved the content of the Party Congress of Quang Hanh Ward and Cua Ong Ward.

On the morning of July 18, comrade Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council worked with the Standing Committee of the Quang Hanh Ward Party Committee and Cua Ong Ward Party Committee to approve the content of the 1st Ward Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Comrade Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, spoke at the working session with the Standing Committee of the Quang Hanh Ward Party Committee.

Following the directions and instructions of the Central and the province, the preparations for the Congress have been seriously and urgently prepared by the localities. The working group to assist, monitor and guide the preparation and organization of the provincial Party Congress has also studied and reviewed the preparations of the localities, focusing on the political report to be submitted to the Congress. The Quang Hanh Ward Party Congress is expected to take place for 2 days (August 1 and 2, 2025); the Cua Ong Ward Party Congress will take place for 2 days (August 8 and 9, 2025).

Through the comments contributed at the working session, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Standing Committee of the Quang Hanh Ward Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Cua Ong Ward Party Committee to continue to complete the preparation work for the congress, ensuring compliance with the set requirements. Suggesting some contents that localities need to pay attention to, he stated that for Quang Hanh Ward, it is necessary to continue discussing and more clearly defining the motto and theme of the congress on the basis of closely following the province's orientation, demonstrating the pioneering and breakthrough spirit, daring to innovate in the next term.

Comrade Do Manh Hung, Secretary of Quang Hanh Ward Party Committee, reported on preparations for the 1st Congress of Cua Ong Ward Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

In terms of development, it is necessary to more clearly define the position and strategic vision of Quang Hanh ward after the reorganization; to exploit to the maximum the potential advantages, differences, and uniqueness of a locality with a lot of room for development and attractiveness to many investors, striving to become a smart, civilized, and modern urban area; one of the province's leading attractive destinations for tourism , services, and the formation of international-class products. The proposed targets must demonstrate a stronger offensive spirit and identify breakthroughs associated with the characteristics and on the basis of positioning the ward's position in the development of the province.

Regarding Cua Ong ward, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council noted that the congress' motto must closely follow the Central and Provincial directions to ensure that it is suitable for local practical conditions. This is a ward with the advantage of developing based on seaports and seaport services, with the special national relic Cua Ong Temple, along with advantages in developing the coal industry, to form a civilized, modern, dynamic and creative urban area.

Comrade Dinh Ngoc Chien, Secretary of the Party Committee of Cua Ong Ward, reported on preparations for the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of Cua Ong Ward, term 2025-2030.

The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Cua Ong Ward reviews the targets in line with the practical situation and implementation capacity of the locality; must identify key and focal projects in the coming term under the authority and responsibility of the ward; identify breakthroughs to propose tasks and solutions. In particular, it is important to continue promoting the task of building and rectifying the Party and a clean and strong political system; improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, the management, operation and organization of public service implementation of local Party committees and authorities to meet the requirements in the new situation; building the organizational apparatus of Party committees and authorities to be truly streamlined, strong, efficient and more effective than before the reorganization.

In socio -economic development, the ward needs to promote economic restructuring, in which identifying industry, services, high-quality tourism, developing seaports, seaport services associated with environmental protection, ecosystems and adaptation to climate change; mobilizing maximum resources, focusing on investment in completing socio-economic infrastructure, including the internal traffic system; strongly applying science and technology, promoting digital economy, tourism, smart services, and local night economy.
