Supporting Cat Tien farmers to develop sericulture

On the afternoon of September 12, the Farmers' Association of Cat Tien commune organized the disbursement of capital for members to implement the mulberry planting and silkworm raising project in village 15.

Mr. Dong Hoai An, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Commune Farmers' Association, gave a speech handing over capital to borrowers.

Accordingly, the Farmers' Association of Cat Tien commune has disbursed 300 million VND in capital to 6 farmer members of the commune to borrow to implement the mulberry planting and silkworm raising project.

This capital comes from the Lam Dong Farmers Support Fund. The program's goal is to help farmer members invest in production, build economic models, and form cooperatives and cooperatives.

During the process of using capital of households, the Commune Farmers' Association will regularly check and supervise, ensuring the proper use and preservation of capital when the collection period comes. In addition, the Cat Tien Commune Farmers' Association will also support training and transfer of science and technology in planting and caring for mulberry for households that borrow capital.

Cat Tien Commune Farmers' Association established a group to grow mulberry and raise silkworms in village 15.

This fund will help solve part of the capital problem for farmer households to solve jobs, increase income, improve life, compete in good production and business. Thereby, creating trust among farmer members, contributing to the successful implementation of local socio-economic targets.
