Sad news: Comrade Le Huy Ngo passed away

The Party Central Committee, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the family are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Comrade Le Huy Ngo, former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Comrade Le Huy Ngo , born on August 13, 1938, in Tinh Hai commune, Tinh Gia district, Thanh Hoa province, now Hai Binh ward, Thanh Hoa province. Permanent residence at No. 24, Area B4, Lane 195, Doi Can street, Ngoc Ha ward, Hanoi city. Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Former alternate member of the Party Central Committee, term VI, member of the Party Central Committee, terms VI, VII, VIII, IX; National Assembly delegate, term IX, term X; former Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee; former Secretary of the Vinh Phu Provincial Party Committee (now Phu Tho province); former Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development (now the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment ); former Head of the Central Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention, retired.

- Second Class Independence Medal;

- First and second class Labor Medal;

- First and Second Class Resistance Medal;

- Third-class Labor Medal for the cause of Vietnam - Laos Agricultural Cooperation;

Due to old age and poor health, he passed away at 03:56 on September 16, 2025 (July 25, year of the Snake), at his home, at the age of 88.

Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on September 18, 2025, Memorial service from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on the same day at the National Funeral Home, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong - Hanoi .

Burial on the same day at Thien Duc Memorial Park, Phu Tho province.
