Journalist Nguyen Duy Cuong, former Permanent Deputy General Director of VNA, passed away at 8:00 a.m. on September 29, 2025.

Former Permanent Deputy General Director of VNA, former Chairman of the VNA Journalists Association, 45-year Party membership badge, Second-class Labor Medal, Second-class Resistance War Medal against the US for National Salvation, Medal for Journalism Career, Medal for News Agency Career.

He is the father of Ms. Nguyen Dieu Linh, Editor of the Economic News Editorial Board (Vietnam News Agency).
He is the father-in-law of Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Head of the Planning and Finance Department (Vietnam News Agency).

Passed away at 08:00 on September 29, 2025 (ie August 8, At Ty year).
