According to information from Ninh Binh Hydrometeorological Station, at 11:00 a.m. on September 12, 2024, the water level on Hoang Long River at Ben De was 4.79m (0.79m above alarm level 3), at Gian Khau 4.37m (0.67m above alarm level 3); Day River in Ninh Binh 4.09m (0.59m above alarm level 3), 0.15m above the historical flood peak in 2017.

Forecast for the next 12-24 hours: Water level on Hoang Long River at Ben De and Gian Khau continues to rise; at Ben De, it is likely to rise to 5.20-5.40m (above alarm level 3: 1.20-1.40m); at Gian Khau, it will rise to 4.60-4.80m (above alarm level 3: 0.90-1.10m).

On the Day River in Ninh Binh, the water level continues to rise to 4.15-4.35m (above alarm level 3: 0.65-0.85m).
