Regarding coal production in April 2025, units focused on implementing synchronous solutions to increase coal mining productivity and reduce resource loss rates. The main production targets basically ensured the plan, especially raw coal output reached and exceeded the assigned plan.

Clean coal production in April reached 3.7 million tons, equal to 103% of the plan; the cumulative output in the first four months of the year is estimated at 13.8 million tons, equal to 104% over the same period.

Raw coal production reached 3.7 million tons, equal to 110% of the plan; the first 4 months of the year is estimated to reach 14.2 million tons and equal to 104% over the same period.

Coal consumption reached 4.85 million tons, equal to 99.1% of the plan; in the first 4 months of the year, it is estimated that 17.6 million tons were consumed, equal to 103% over the same period, of which coal delivered to electricity in April is estimated at 4.2 million tons, equal to 100% of the plan; cumulative coal delivered to electricity in the first 4 months of the year is estimated at 15.1 million tons, equal to 35.9% of the yearly plan and equal to 100% over the same period...

The estimated amount of earth and rock excavation is 15.4 million m3, equal to 107% of the monthly plan. The cumulative amount in the first four months of the year is estimated at 54.4 million m3, equal to 100% compared to the same period in 2024. The total number of tunnel meters is expected to reach 24.8 thousand meters, equal to 104% of the plan; the estimated amount in the first four months of the year is 89.6 thousand meters, equal to 103% compared to the same period.

Mineral and chemical units continue to maintain production with high output, taking advantage of favorable market conditions.

Alumina production in April is estimated at 107 thousand tons, accumulated in the first 4 months of the year is estimated at 490 thousand tons, equal to 103% over the same period.

In April, it is estimated that 102 thousand tons of Alumina were consumed; in the first 4 months of the year, it is estimated that 450 thousand tons were consumed.

Copper concentrate production in April is estimated at 9.8 thousand tons, equal to 119% of the plan; in the first 4 months of the year it is estimated at 39.8 thousand tons, equal to 102% over the same period. Copper concentrate consumption in April is estimated at 3 thousand tons, equal to 110% of the plan; in the first 4 months it is estimated at 11 thousand tons...

Electricity production in April still maintained production according to the mobilization plan of the National Power System Dispatch Center. Electricity production in April is estimated at 11,031 million kWh, equal to 107% of the plan. The cumulative output in the first 4 months of the year is estimated at 3.85 billion kWh, equal to 116% compared to the same period in 2024.

In April 2025, explosive production is estimated at 6.9 thousand tons, equal to 100% of the plan, explosive supply is estimated at 9.8 thousand tons, equal to 100% of the plan.

Production of 17 thousand tons of Ammonium Nitrate, equal to 100% of the plan, consumption is estimated at 17 thousand tons, equal to 100% of the plan... In addition, mechanical production units basically ensure jobs and income for workers.

The targets for April 2025 basically ensure the completion and exceeding of the operating plan, creating a positive premise for the implementation of the remaining months and striving to complete the plan for the first 6 months of 2025; bringing the total revenue of the whole Group in April to an estimated VND 16.1 trillion, equal to 100.5% of the plan.

Cumulative revenue for the first four months of the year is expected to reach VND60.8 trillion, equal to 107% over the same period.

State budget contribution in April is estimated at 2.35 trillion VND; accumulated in the first 4 months of the year is estimated at 9.6 trillion VND, equal to 105% over the same period.

Continue to maintain production pace

Entering May 2025, coal consumption is expected to increase; coal and mineral production activities are affected by hot weather with an increasing trend, and storms may appear.

TKV and its units will focus on implementing well the work of storm prevention, continuing to maintain production pace, maximizing output; ensuring production, import, processing and blending, meeting coal needs for the market and coal for electricity production.

TKV implements the production and business plan for May and the first 5 months of 2025 with a number of key targets. Raw coal production is 3.3 million tons; the cumulative output for the first 5 months of the year is expected to reach 17.51 million tons.

Total clean coal production is 3.61 million tons; expected to reach 17.39 million tons in the first 5 months. 24.21 thousand meters of tunnels are dug; expected to reach 113.8 thousand meters in the first 5 months. 14.47 million m3 of earth and rock are excavated; expected to reach 68.9 million m3 in the first 5 months.

Expected production of 129 thousand tons of Alumina; cumulative output in the first 5 months of the year reached 610 thousand tons; consumption of 120 thousand tons, cumulative output in the first 5 months of the year is expected to reach 570 thousand tons...

Copper concentrate production reached 8.98 thousand tons; cumulative production in the first 5 months of the year was 48.8 thousand tons. Copper concentrate consumption reached 3 thousand tons; consumption in the first 5 months of the year was 13.96 thousand tons...

The electricity production and consumption plan for May 2025 is 1,013 million kWh; the cumulative production in the first 5 months of the year is expected to be 4.86 billion kWh. At the same time, explosive production is expected to reach 6.8 thousand tons; the cumulative production in the first 5 months is expected to reach 34.74 thousand tons. Supply of 9.8 thousand tons of explosives; the cumulative supply in the first 5 months of the year is expected to be 47.64 thousand tons.

Consolidated revenue of the whole Group in May is expected to reach 16.21 trillion VND; Accumulated revenue for the first 5 months of the year is expected to reach 76.99 trillion VND.
