The Fatherland is on the front line

During the border and island working trips over the past decades, Thanh Nien reporters have always paid attention to recording images of the national flag flying in the wind and sun, the ocean, or the majestic mountains.

After a whole day, even several days and nights of climbing mountains and forests at the border, with limbs and body exhausted, wanting to collapse, suddenly in the distance, in the valley, at the foot of the hill, at the top of the mountain, a bright red flag with a yellow star flutters, all fatigue disappears, giving way to laughter, excitement and steps towards the flag. Because that place is the border post, the school, the village of the people. That place is the Fatherland , the land and the people.

The entire journey of several days and nights from the mainland to Truong Sa. Waves, wind, rain, and storms were so dense that the boat was rocking and rocking, making even the strongest people feel seasick and lie still, gritting their teeth to endure. However, just one shout: "There's an island!" and looking through the porthole of the ship, seeing the red flag with a yellow star fluttering on the distant sea, everyone suddenly became alert, holding hands and cheering. Because that place was our sea and island, our people and our soldiers.

In our long, difficult and arduous journeys, the Fatherland is simply a flag dot seen from afar, but when seen closer, it is clearly the National Flag, the support of faith.

The stability and development of each country must be based on an important foundation - the most essential of which is the love of the Fatherland of each citizen. Only by loving the Fatherland and our compatriots can we unite and work together to build a peaceful , independent and prosperous life.
