Famous singer Huong Lan is the first guest of the art project series Women's Heart - Pearl Heart .
The project is a series of art, fashion and discussion programs to enhance the three-sided beauty of Vietnamese women. Along with the values of women, the project also contributes and accompanies fundraising to support the program "Heartbeat Vietnam", supporting free heart surgery for poor children.
Famous singer Huong Lan shared that accepting to participate in this project was a "good fate". The project was nurtured for more than a year, going through many discussions between her and the organizers to be able to take shape. Director Le Viet even flew to Thailand to meet and convince the famous singer.
“My happiness is to contribute my voice to the program. With its message and meaning towards women, I hope the program will spread strongly, to create a happy community together,” she shared.
Huong Lan hopes to work with the artists to create a meaningful program, bringing singing to the audience and spreading positive messages at the program.
Regarding the guests in the program, most of whom are young singers, Huong Lan said she has never chosen big names to intentionally make her music night become massive, but first of all, it is the suitability.
“Here I also tell the guest artists, when you come here, sing with your heart. Never think of joining the program because you want to make a name for yourself or sing just to make money. You should bring your innocence and wholehearted love for art. Then, the audience will give you all their love,” she shared.
Sharing about her health at the age of 67, Huong Lan confided: “For an artist, sleep is very important, because when I sleep, I can concentrate and sing comfortably. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I was affected both physically and mentally. However, in the past 2 years, I have been much healthier thanks to stem cell injections. Now, I feel mentally comfortable and very happy because I can still contribute my singing to the audience.”
The artist is always grateful for life and the love and support of the audience that has given her the opportunity to become famous and maintain her name until now. Therefore, she wants to sing until she can no longer allow it and "when the audience no longer wants to listen, then that's it."
Dam Vinh Hung said the program had an impressive opening performance, contributing to honoring women, helping them realize their own value, live with dreams and joy.
Talking about the reason for naming the theme of Huong Lan's music night as "Huong Trang Nhu Ngoc", Ms. Tran Thi Thao Giang, founder - representative of the organizing committee shared: "Pearls are a symbol of hidden beauty inside and we believe that each of us has some kind of inner beauty. Our mission is to help people evoke this beauty".
According to Ms. Thao Giang, the program helps support free heart surgery for poor children in Vietnam, bringing a positive value to the community. She hopes to spread more meaningful things to everyone, bringing human love closer together.
The music night will include 3 chapters: Full jade figure; Loyal jade heart; Jade in the heart with the opening and closing parts carefully prepared by the director to surprise the audience.
Huong Lan will perform songs such as: Sa mua giong, Con thuong rau dang moc sau he, Tinh hoai huong, Hinh bong que nha, Loi ve dat me... The works were chosen by the famous female singer herself, associated with her singing career through each period, from folk songs to modern music.
The concert also featured singers such as Quoc Dai, Ha Van, Nguyen Khac Huy, Nhu Y, Jack Long, Isaac Thai. They are considered the next generation, continuing the musical values that Huong Lan has achieved to continue to preserve and promote over time.
The show will take place on the evening of October 1 at Hoa Binh Theater, Ho Chi Minh City, and is expected to attract more than 2,000 spectators.
