Ho Chi Minh City appoints two female District Party Secretaries

On January 14, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a ceremony to announce and award personnel decisions.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee decided to transfer, assign, and appoint Ms. Nguyen Thanh Xuan, Secretary of the Party Committee, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association, to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the District Party Committee of District 3, term 2020 - 2025.

Ms. Nguyen Thanh Xuan (born in 1981, from Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City), has a Master's degree in Political Science , a Bachelor's degree in Economics, and a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, and Agricultural Extension. Ms. Nguyen Thanh Xuan is currently a delegate of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, term XI, 2021 - 2026.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee also decided to transfer, assign, and appoint Ms. Phan Thi Thanh Phuong, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Phu Nhuan District Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.

Ms. Phan Thi Thanh Phuong (born 1984, from Quang Nam ), has a Master's degree in Political Science, Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Bachelor's degree in Biology, and Advanced degree in Political Theory.

Ms. Phan Thi Thanh Phuong has a working and growing history from the Youth Union. She is currently a delegate of the 15th National Assembly .
