Ho Chi Minh City lists rental prices for Tet flower markets, not allowing them to be passed around and raised

This year, Ho Chi Minh City will have 7 city-level flower markets, 1 spring flower festival and dozens of district-level flower markets to serve people during the Lunar New Year.

Ho Chi Minh City has issued a plan to organize the 45th Tao Dan Spring Flower Festival and Tet flower market in 2025.

The goal is to introduce and promote to city residents to visit and enjoy flowers, bonsai and unique works of art.

Along with that is introducing and promoting agricultural models, flower and ornamental plant models combined with sightseeing tourism of Ho Chi Minh City to domestic and foreign tourists.

Create opportunities for artisans, flower and ornamental plant growers, and professional associations to exchange and share experiences in the art of growing, caring for, and crossbreeding beautiful and unique flowers and ornamental plants...

Specifically, the city will have a spring flower festival with the theme "Brocade and flower country, happy spring". It will be held for 10 days (from January 24 to February 2) at Tao Dan park.

For the city-level Tet flower market, there will be 7 locations.

Including three flower markets at September 23rd Park; Gia Dinh Park; Le Van Tam Park hosted by Green Park Company Limited.

A location in Thu Duc City organized by this locality. The "On the wharf, under the boat" spring flower market is jointly organized by the People's Committee of District 8 and the Department of Culture and Sports . The Tet flower market at Binh Dien market is organized by Saigon Trading Group.

And finally, Phu My Hung flower market and flower street hosted by Phu My Hung Development Corporation.

The period lasts from January 22 to January 28. Each lot is 18 - 20 square meters, rental price from 2.5 million VND to 3 million VND/lot.

There are also flower markets in Thu Duc City and other districts. The time of organization depends on the specific conditions of each locality.

Commitment not to increase rental prices at Tet flower markets

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City requires absolutely not to allow the transfer of rented lots at flower markets to take advantage of price differences, causing loss of budget revenue for the state as well as damage to the people.

In addition, parking lots are arranged based on the layout of the flower market lots. The assigned unit is responsible for arranging parking areas to ensure serving the needs of residents and visitors.
