Ho Chi Minh City cleans land data
Ho Chi Minh City has just issued a detailed plan to implement the task of building and completing the land database, in order to synchronize with the national database on land, population and tax. This is considered an important step in the process of digital transformation and modernization of land management.
According to the plan, Ho Chi Minh City will clean up land data in 168 communes, wards and special zones, equivalent to more than 5 million land plots. At the same time, certificates of land use rights and ownership of assets attached to land that have been issued but not yet updated in the system will also be collected, scanned, digitized and restructured.
Once completed, the Ho Chi Minh City land data cleaning must be directly connected to the national land database, the national population database, the tax system and a number of other key sectors. The authentication rate must reach over 95% before October 30, 2025. Once the data is synchronized, land administrative procedures will be significantly shortened.
The implementing agencies must clearly assign responsibilities, authority, time, and results, and closely coordinate in implementing the tasks. Regularly check, monitor, and report on implementation results to promptly resolve any difficulties or problems.
