Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Youth Union force collected garbage along the Thuy Van coastline, about 2.5km long (from the Thuy Van - Nguyen An Ninh intersection to Chi Linh area). Nearly 3 tons of garbage were collected and handed over to Vung Tau Urban Environmental Services and Construction Joint Stock Company (VESCO) for treatment.
This is the first time Tam Thang Ward Youth Union has organized Green Sunday, contributing to spreading the message of environmental protection awareness, building a green - clean - beautiful lifestyle in the community and tourists.

On the same day, in Phuoc Thang ward, the Border Guard Squadron 18 Youth Union (Border Guard Command) coordinated with Phuoc Thang ward Youth Union to organize the launching ceremony of the peak day of "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" and the "Green Sunday" movement.
More than 300 officers and youth union members of Border Guard Squadron 18 and units and localities in the area participated in collecting garbage and cleaning the environment on more than 5km of traffic roads on Route 2/9 and residential areas, collecting more than 5.5 tons of various types of waste and removing illegal advertisements and classified ads.
