Ho Chi Minh City visits 5 families affected by storms

On August 1, a working delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City led by Mr. Ngo Minh Hai, member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Secretary of the City Youth Union, visited and presented gifts to support 5 households in Phu My ward.

These are 5 households whose houses were damaged by the storm and heavy rain that occurred at noon on July 20, including: Mrs. Thach Thi Den (Ben Dinh neighborhood); Mr. Nguyen Xuan Van, Mrs. Vu Thi Van (Van Hanh neighborhood); Mr. Dinh Van Hung, Mrs. Pham Thi Truc Ly (Tan Ngoc neighborhood).

At the destinations, the delegation kindly visited and sympathized with families affected by storms and tornadoes; at the same time, encouraged the families to quickly overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives. The delegation also presented each family with 5 million VND.

Previously, a heavy rain and thunderstorm occurred at noon on July 20 in Phu My ward, Ho Chi Minh City, causing damage to many houses, factories, and boarding houses of households, with roofs blown off...
