Awarding 11 prizes for the 37th 'My Hometown Long An' Art Photography Contest in 2025

On the morning of June 30, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association held the closing and awarding ceremony of the 37th "My Homeland Long An" Art Photography Contest in 2025.

The art photography contest "My homeland Long An " is an annual traditional contest of the photography industry of Long An province, organized by the Provincial Literature and Arts Association in coordination with the Long An Photography Association.

Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association - Photographer Nguyen Lanh emphasized that the contest is not only a place for exchange and learning between photography artists but also an opportunity to spread the beauty of the homeland and people of Long An through the lens of art.

After 37 years of organization, the contest has increasingly affirmed its role and position in the cultural and artistic life of the province, actively contributing to promoting the image of Long An to the public inside and outside the province. Through the lens, the photographer not only records the beauty of his homeland, but also tells the future the story of a land in transition.

Photographer Chanh Thi won first prize with the work "New Product"

In the 37th edition, the Organizing Committee received 194 works from 18 contestants. As a result, 60 excellent works were selected for exhibition.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee awarded 5 Consolation prizes, 3 Third prizes, 2 Second prizes and 1 First prize. In which, the First prize belonged to Photographer Chanh Thi with the work "New Product".

Over the past 37 years, the "My Hometown Long An" Art Photography Contest has become a useful and prestigious playground for photographers in Long An province.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the photographers in the province, Photographer Chanh Thi sent his sincere thanks to the Organizing Committee of the Artistic Photography Contest "My Homeland Long An". He also expressed his hope that the Provincial Literature and Arts Association would continue to pay attention, organize professional training courses, foster creative skills and update new photography trends, in order to improve the quality of works, nurture young artists and create conditions for the province's photography to develop more strongly in the new period./.
