Awarding ceremony of the 5th English Olympic Contest for students

The contest is a meaningful activity, creating an effective learning environment and practicing English skills for Ha Tinh students.

On the afternoon of August 4, Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union organized the final round of the 5th Provincial English Olympic Contest for students. Attending the closing ceremony were representatives of Clever Junior English Center Thach Ha (sponsor) and 30 students in the area.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Viet Hai Dang hoped that through the contest, contestants would continue to spread their passion for learning foreign languages; more and more young people in Ha Tinh would love and understand the value of learning English; and constantly improve themselves to contribute to building the country.

The 5th Ha Tinh Student English Olympic Competition was held from May to August 2023, online at https://olympicenglish.vn . Over 5 weeks, the competition attracted nearly 8,000 students from 46 high schools, vocational education and continuing education centers and more than 1,000 students from 6 universities and colleges in the province with more than 10,000 entries.

After the rounds, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize in the student category to contestant Duong Thi Ngoc Tu (Ha Tinh University) and the first prize in the student category to contestant Tran Thi Huyen Dieu (Le Quang Chi High School, Ky Anh town). These are the contestants with the highest scores in the contest.
