On January 9, the Provincial Center for Agricultural Extension - Plant Varieties, Livestock and Aquaculture (Center) held a Conference "Summary of agricultural extension work, plant varieties, livestock and aquaculture in 2023, direction and tasks for 2024".
In 2023, the Center organized 4 training courses to improve professional and technical capacity for 126 agricultural extension officers and grassroots agricultural extension workers; coordinated with Agricultural Extension Stations to organize 50 technical training courses with 1,500 trainees; organized study tours to model in 2 provinces of Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City for 20 officers and civil servants to participate...

The Center has presided over and coordinated with units to implement 2 projects from the central budget and 8 agricultural extension models from the provincial budget; completed the production and supply of 23,060 coffee seedlings that meet standards and quality for people who need to replant in Ea H'leo, Krong Buk, Ea Kar districts; maintained the operation of service counters, displaying products to serve the consulting work and providing agricultural extension services. This is the focal point for connecting, consulting and providing information to people about agricultural varieties, agricultural materials, and agricultural extension services.
In 2024, the Center will continue to actively participate in restructuring the agricultural sector towards increasing added value and sustainable development; promoting chain production linkages, reorganizing production and improving capacity and production level for farmers; developing green economy , organic agriculture, circular agriculture, smart agriculture...

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 individuals, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 4 individuals with achievements in agricultural extension work in 2023.
