(NADS) - To celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Vietnam Border Guard's Traditional Day (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the People's Border Guard Day (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2024), on the afternoon of February 27, the Da Nang City Border Guard Command and the Da Nang Photography Club jointly organized the opening of the Artistic News Photography Exhibition about the Da Nang City Border Guard.
The exhibition displays and introduces to the public 65 outstanding photographic works selected from nearly 500 photos of members of the Da Nang Photography Club, photography lovers and valuable documentary images of the city's Border Guard force sent to participate in the exhibition.
Speaking at the opening of the Exhibition, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Thuy, Deputy Political Commissar of the Da Nang City Border Guard, said that the Exhibition is a practical activity to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Vietnam Border Guard's Traditional Day and the 35th anniversary of the People's Border Guard Day. The exhibition's photo works have high ideological and artistic value about the image of border guards and soldiers in carrying out political tasks, training for combat readiness, working, and in daily life to help people. The works have contributed to widely propagating to the entire people and the entire army about the image and noble qualities of the Vietnam Border Guard; thereby encouraging, motivating, and building a strong and comprehensive border force to firmly protect the Fatherland.
The exhibition of artistic photos about the Da Nang City Border Guard Force takes place until March 3 at Trung Vuong Theater - Da Nang.
