Exhibition of 80 years of national achievements aims for a record of 10 million visitors

As of September 13, the National Achievements Exhibition: Journey of 80 years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness in 2025 has attracted nearly 8.6 million visitors. The Organizing Committee expects this number to reach a record 10 million visitors after 19 days of opening.

The exhibition was held at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ) from August 28, quickly becoming a focal event attracting a large number of people and tourists from home and abroad, especially on weekends.

According to the Organizing Committee, on September 13, nearly 1.3 million visitors were recorded, breaking the record of visitors in the previous days. The total number of visitors to the exhibition as of September 13 has reached nearly 8.6 million people. The Organizing Committee said that at this rate, the exhibition could reach a record of 10 million visitors after 19 days of opening.

On September 13 alone, the Exhibition attracted nearly 1.3 million visitors, breaking the record of previous days.

The exhibition is the largest ever, with the participation of 28 central ministries, 34 localities and more than 110 large enterprises and economic groups. More than 230 booths are displayed across the entire area of ​​the Exhibition Center, introducing the achievements of nearly 180 industries in many different fields. Documents, materials, artifacts, machinery and equipment, along with documentaries and reports vividly and quite comprehensively recreate the outstanding achievements of the country over the past 80 years.

Initially, the exhibition was scheduled to end on September 5. However, due to the increasing number of visitors to the Exhibition, in order to meet the needs of the people and tourists and to implement the Prime Minister 's Official Dispatch No. 155/CD-TTg dated September 2, 2025 on extending the exhibition of national achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, the Organizing Committee has extended the exhibition to September 15.

During the last two days of opening, preparations for the Closing Ceremony are being rushed to completion. At this time, the number of visitors continues to increase. Visitors line up from early morning to enter the Exhibition. This is also the first time that a National Exhibition of the largest scale ever has attracted a record number of visitors.

The exhibition will stop welcoming visitors from 4pm on September 15th and the closing ceremony will take place at 8pm on the same day at the North yard of the National Exhibition Center. On the closing night of the exhibition, there will be a special concert with the theme "I love my Fatherland". The program will gather many famous artists from many generations. This will be a special art program with brilliant high-altitude fireworks, celebrating the country's achievements.

It can be seen that the National Achievements Exhibition has attracted special attention from the people and tourists, becoming a large-scale political and cultural event with a profound influence in social life.
