The exhibition of national achievements with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness", taking place from August 28 at the National Exhibition Fair Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi), gathered 230 booths, with a scale of nearly 260,000m2, displaying many products, images, and introducing the achievements of 34 provinces and cities, 28 ministries, branches, and typical private and state-owned enterprises.

Coming to the exhibition, localities and units have promoted technology, multimedia projection equipment, multi-layer lighting, combined with smart narration, with the clearest images and sounds, creating a complete and vivid picture of the country, people, culture, most notably the outstanding achievements of localities in particular, and of Vietnam in general.

Mr. Vu Hoang Ky, a resident of Lai Khe commune, Hai Phong city, said: The exhibition of national achievements held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2 has a lot of meaning. This is an opportunity for many people to visit and understand more about the development situation of the country. According to Mr. Ky, in the exhibition space, there is the participation of most of the provinces, cities, ministries, branches, economic groups... therefore, when visiting the exhibition, everyone seems to be able to see the general picture, with full assessments of the socio-economic fields of 34 provinces and cities in the S-shaped strip of land.

Ms. Le Tam (60 years old), Thach That commune, Hanoi said: Going to see the National Achievements Exhibition, I really liked the booths displaying and introducing craft villages of Hanoi, Hai Phong, Lang Son... with many outstanding and unique local specialties, especially the area introducing cuisine of Ho Chi Minh City. When visiting the booths, I had the feeling that each booth was a miniature province or city for visitors to feel, experience and immerse themselves in the scenery, emotions and space of that locality.

Ms. Nguyen Lan Phuong, Head of the Department of Education and Communication, Lao Cai Museum, shared: In order for people coming to the National Achievement Exhibition to better understand their homeland, the province organized an introduction of basic information about Lao Cai province and its tourist areas. The province sent 25 people who are artisans and members of folk song and dance clubs to perform, including the Sinh Tien stick dance (Mong people); Mong flute; Thai xoe dance; Mong panpipe; Gau bird dance, Xa Pho people's nose flute... Lao Cai also brought to the National Achievement Exhibition hundreds of precious products produced by ethnic minorities, from the natural gifts of mountains and forests. Through the National Achievement Exhibition, Lao Cai has many opportunities for development, especially in the fields of tourism and services, contributing to promoting the prosperity of the locality.

Therefore, each document and each image is carefully selected and presented using modern technology to create both a visual impression and arouse cultural depth. This is also an invitation for domestic and international friends to experience the heritage land.

The exhibition of national achievements has been extended by 10 days compared to the original plan. The extension of the exhibition to September 15 is to meet the needs and wishes and create conditions for people to have more time to visit and experience the activities and events.
