Trieu Son becomes the third district of Thanh Hoa province to meet advanced new rural standards.

On January 6, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed Decision No. 31/QD-TTg recognizing Trieu Son district, Thanh Hoa province, as meeting advanced new rural standards in 2024.

The Prime Minister assigned the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province to be responsible for announcing and rewarding according to regulations; directed the People's Committee of Trieu Son district to continue maintaining and improving the quality of criteria, focusing on economic and environmental criteria to ensure sustainability in building new rural areas.

Trieu Son is the third district of Thanh Hoa province to be recognized as meeting advanced NTM standards in 2024. This is a recognition of the high determination, great efforts, and constant striving of the entire Party Committee, government, and people of Trieu Son district.

Immediately after reaching the NTM target in 2020, Trieu Son district continued to focus on organizing the implementation of advanced NTM construction. With many effective methods, up to now, the district has developed comprehensively and sustainably, with a synchronous and modern socio-economic infrastructure.

By November 2024, Trieu Son has 17/32 communes meeting advanced NTM standards (53.13%); 2/32 communes meeting model NTM standards (6.25%); 2/2 towns meeting civilized urban standards. The district maintains 9/9 NTM district standards and 9/9 advanced NTM district standards.

The satisfaction rate of people with the construction of advanced new rural areas in the district reached 99.99%. The total mobilized resources for the construction of new rural areas in Trieu Son district in the period of 2011-2024 is 15,525 billion VND.
