Information Regiment 29 hands over 5 houses to soldiers in difficult circumstances

(GLO)- The 29th Information Regiment (34th Corps) coordinated with the Party Committee and authorities of Ia Hiao commune (Gia Lai province) to hand over 5 houses to soldiers with difficult housing circumstances working at the unit.

Attending the house handover ceremony were Lieutenant Colonel Tran Quoc Viet - Deputy Political Commissar of the Regiment and leaders of Ia Hiao commune government.

The soldiers receiving houses include: Lieutenant Colonel Pham Ngoc Son - Political Commissar of the 29th Information Regiment; Captain Pham Khac Dieu - Political Commissar of Company 2 (Battalion 1); Major Nguyen Van Tinh - Operator of Company 2 (Battalion 1); Lieutenant Tran Van Nghia - Technical staff of the Logistics and Engineering Department; Captain Le Huu Minh - Information staff of Company 4 (Battalion 2).

Each house was supported with 80 million VND from the Ministry of National Defense , Army Corps 34 and 200 working days of officers and soldiers of Information Regiment 29. After more than 2 months of construction, 5 houses were completed on schedule, ensuring the quality of the project and suitable for the living conditions of each family.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Tran Quoc Viet: Supporting the construction of comrades' houses for soldiers in difficulty is an activity with profound humanitarian meaning, demonstrating the concern of leaders and commanders at all levels for officers and soldiers of the 29th Information Regiment. In addition, this activity also contributes to the local government in implementing the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.
