According to the VNA correspondent in Beijing, on March 22, within the framework of his visit and work in China, Party Central Committee Secretary and Head of the Party Central Committee's External Relations Commission Le Hoai Trung had meetings with Politburo Standing Committee member, Secretary of the Secretariat, Chief of the Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee Thai Ky; Politburo member, Head of the Office of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. At the meetings, Mr. Le Hoai Trung informed about his visit to China and the annual meeting between the two heads of the Party Central Committee's External Relations Commission this time to implement the important common perception between the senior leaders of the two Parties and the two countries, exchanged opinions on advising the Party Central Committees on strengthening exchanges and cooperation on the Party channel, and coordinating to promote cooperation between the two countries in various fields. Mr. Le Hoai Trung affirmed that the Party, State and people of Vietnam highly value and appreciate the positive developments in the relations between the two Parties and the two countries in all fields since the visit of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to China and General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping to Vietnam. Regarding the direction of development of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries in the coming time, Mr. Le Hoai Trung suggested that both sides make efforts to implement the high-level common perception, strengthen political trust, consolidate a peaceful and stable environment, promote and improve the effectiveness of cooperation in all fields; the two sides continue to increase high-level exchanges and contacts, especially between the highest leaders; Promote exchanges between Party committees at the Central level and local levels, strengthen cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, transport connectivity, and coordinate to consolidate a good social foundation for bilateral relations. (Photo: Tien Trung/VNA) The Chinese leaders respectfully conveyed the regards and best wishes of General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; expressed their delight at the important, substantive and comprehensive progress of the relations between the two Parties and countries in all fields, especially after the historic visits of the two General Secretaries in 2022 and 2023 and the two sides' agreement to build a Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future of strategic significance; congratulated the achievements that the Party, State and people of Vietnam have achieved under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam headed by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, and believed that Vietnam will successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The Party, State and people of China consider developing relations with Vietnam a priority in China's neighborly foreign policy. Within the framework of the visit, in Beijing, Head of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission Le Hoai Trung also had a meeting with Party Central Committee member and Permanent Vice President of the Central Party School of China Ta Xuan Dao; held a discussion with experts from the Academy of Social Sciences and the Chinese Diplomatic Academy; surveyed the Xiong'an New Area in Hebei Province; visited and worked with the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in China./.
