This year, Can Tho University fell out of the "club" of universities with revenue of 1,000 billion VND or more when total revenue fell below this figure.
According to the 2023-2024 school year financial report of Can Tho University, the school's total revenue this school year is 954.19 billion VND.

Of which, revenue from the budget is 125.09 billion VND, from tuition fees is 642.06 billion VND, from scientific research and technology transfer is 21.6 billion VND and from other legal sources is 165.44 billion VND.
In the 2023-2024 school year, Can Tho University's tuition fees range from 15.4 to 19.8 million VND/year for undergraduate training; master's training has a tuition fee of 23.3 million VND/year and doctoral training has a tuition fee of 38.9 million VND/year.
With a revenue of less than 1,000 billion VND, this year Can Tho University fell out of the "club" of universities with revenue of thousands of billions, also known as the club of thousand billion universities.
In the previous school year (2022-2023 school year), Can Tho University had a total revenue of more than 1,119 billion VND, ranking 6th in the group of 9 universities with revenue of thousands of billion VND.
This school's revenue for the 2022-2023 school year surpasses Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Ton Duc Thang University, National Economics University and is only behind Van Lang University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics,FPT University, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.
This year, there are 10 universities with revenue of over 1,000 billion VND. Except for Can Tho University, which fell off the list, there are two public universities joining the "club" of trillion-dollar universities: the University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University) and the Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry.
This year's enrollment season, Can Tho University has nearly 10,000 enrollment targets with 109 regular university training programs, including 89 mass programs, 2 advanced programs and 13 high-quality programs.
The school's 2024 benchmark score based on graduation scores ranges from 15 to 28.43 points. Of which, history has the highest benchmark score of 28.43 points, and candidates must score nearly 9.5 points per subject to be admitted.
