Popularizing AI
With the lesson "Nature and people of Da Nang city", History - Geography subject grade 4, teacher Nguyen Thu Van, Le Lai Primary School (Hai Chau ward, Da Nang city) applied AI technology and flexibly applied active teaching methods in the lesson. Students of grade 4/1 participated in many attractive learning activities such as Flipping the puzzle pieces to guess the place name, I am a geography expert, Asking and answering questions, Presentation "Da Nang in my eyes".

Schools in Da Nang have proactively organized training activities on applying technology in teaching to enter the 2025-2026 school year with a new mindset.
Bach Dang Primary School (Hai Chau Ward, Da Nang City) conducted training on 2 topics: Application of artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching and designing digital learning materials; Application of software in teaching, testing and evaluation. After the training, each teacher had specific demonstration products such as lesson plans, slides, storybooks applying AI; Quizizz test questions; digital lectures on Canva to apply immediately to teaching practice.
Teachers of Tieu La Primary School (An Hai Ward, Da Nang City) practiced applying teaching tools related to artificial intelligence with the support of experts such as using ChatGPT in building teaching situations, creating multiple choice questions. Without having to explore much, with the Digen AI application, teachers can create illustrative videos , short and intuitive learning clips, helping students easily visualize knowledge. Or with the Wordwall application, it is possible to design learning games, interactive exercises such as word matching, crossword puzzles, creating interest and increasing student participation....

Having taught many training courses on AI application in teaching and management, Master Le Vu - Director of the Center for Learning Materials and Communication, University of Technical Education, University of Danang commented: "For teachers, the greatest concern is "practical" and creative. Teachers are excited about applying AI to build interactive lesson plans, design learning games, create diverse sets of exam questions, or simulate complex experiments... Teachers are starting to use tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok for idea generation; Canva AI, Aistudio for designing learning materials; or even Suno for composing songs...".
According to Mr. Le Vu, some teachers, especially those who are not used to using technology, will feel a bit confused and hesitant. However, this is only the initial difficulty. The real challenge lies in changing the teaching mindset, that is, teachers change from the role of "transmitter" to "guide", knowing how to ask the right questions (promt) so that AI becomes a powerful assistant, instead of seeing AI as a difficulty.
"AI will never replace the role of teachers, but it will be the most powerful tool to free teachers from repetitive work, giving them more time and energy for the most important thing: caring for and inspiring students," said Master Le Vu - Director of the Center for Learning Materials and Communication, University of Technical Education, University of Danang.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan - Head of the History - Geography Group, Nguyen Hue Secondary School (Hai Chau Ward, Da Nang City) shared: "Through training sessions, teachers have a solid foundation to use AI in teaching and management. However, AI is a new field, with many derivative tools. Each AI tool has different features. Teachers need guidance from experts to choose the software suitable for the subject's characteristics and actual teaching conditions to shorten the testing time."
Inspirational training courses
To kick off the new school year, the Pedagogical Council of Ly Tu Trong Primary School (Hai Chau Ward, Da Nang City) participated in a training session with the topic "Emotional Management Skills".
Ms. Tran Thi Le - Principal of the school said: "In the context of modern education , helping students identify, adjust and express positive emotions is the key to helping them learn better, cooperate more and love each other more."
The workshop provides teachers with specific, vivid and easy-to-apply methods in each lesson. Two key methods are introduced and practiced: NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) helps teachers and students regulate emotions, thinking and positive behavior through simple but effective techniques. Liberating Structures: An interactive toolkit to increase student participation, build a spirit of cooperation, handle conflicts skillfully and develop empathy in the classroom.

Not only did the training session provide knowledge, it also opened up a moment of reflection, when teachers shared their professional stories, practiced together, laughed together and reflected together. Teachers entered the school year with a new “emotional baggage” – so that each lesson would become warmer and more inspiring.
In addition to the general training program of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang, many schools have proactively provided specialized training closely following practical needs such as Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in teaching; Digital Skills - Digital Capacity; Building Happy Schools, Homeroom Work, Solutions for Organizing Good Teaching to Develop Qualities and Capacity...
Mr. Ho Ngoc Hung - Principal of Trung Vuong Secondary School (Hai Chau Ward, Da Nang City) shared: "To create positive energy for teachers to start a new school year with a proactive, creative mindset, and more motivation to innovate, the school organizes internal training courses. The training topics aim to supplement teachers with skills in adjusting emotions, attitudes, and words in communication with parents and students; active teaching methods to promote students' qualities and abilities. Happy teachers will contribute to building happy schools."
Ms. Huynh Thi Thu Nguyet - Principal of Le Dinh Chinh Primary School (Hoa Cuong Ward, Da Nang City) said: "With the training program on applying artificial intelligence in teaching, teachers not only access tools to support the development of lesson plans and lesson plans, but also learn how to use AI to personalize students' learning process, analyze knowledge gaps and improve teaching methods."
