Here, the Department's leaders listened to the school report on the implementation of the contents to ensure the resumption of activities, the transfer of students to ensure the right to study of students in the 2024-2025 school year and the opinions of the Department's departments.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training concluded that the American International School was not allowed to conduct a survey to determine whether or not students would continue studying at the school. At the same time, during the suspension period, the school was not allowed to organize any educational activities as prescribed.

The school needs to notify parents of the transfer and guide them through the transfer procedures.

Assign someone in charge to sign the transfer documents and require this to be done before the start of the new school year to avoid affecting the student's enrollment time.

The American International School must comply with current regulations. If there is any illegal behavior, the Department of Education and Training will apply measures to ensure that the school complies with the regulations.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said that when the American International School submits a complete application and sufficient evidence to ensure the conditions for resuming operations, the Department will consider the request for a license to resume educational activities. "Up to now, the school has not ensured the conditions for educational activities," the conclusion stated.

Regarding the situation of the American International School, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City said that after suspending the operations of the American International School, the investor and the Board of the American International School sent the Department of Education and Training documents and records...

However, considering that the documents were not qualified, the Department of Education and Training issued a document and had a meeting with the President of the American International School Board, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ut Em, to provide detailed instructions on the process and explain the regulations and procedures for allowing educational activities to resume.

However, from August 3 to 11, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City received a lot of information from media agencies, social networking sites, and feedback from parents about the situation of the American International School reopening while the school has not yet completed the required documents and sent them to the Department.

Therefore, on August 12, the Department of Education and Training continued to have a meeting with Ms. Nguyen Thi Ut Em about the school's activities in the coming time; at the same time, explained to the school that it was not allowed to organize activities.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, through reports from schools that are able to accept students from the American International School and on the online transfer page at https://chuyentruong.hcm.edu.vn (a transfer subsystem specifically for this school), the number of students who have contacted to transfer to another school is 268. However, the parents of the students have made confirmation but have not yet paid tuition to the transfer school.
