Long An Emasi Plus Waterpoint Campus offers an international standard bilingual boarding program from elementary to high school, with a capacity of 1,800 students, opening in August.

The launching ceremony of Emasi Plus Bilingual Boarding School was held in Ho Chi Minh City on the afternoon of March 9. According to the announcement, Emasi Plus is located inside the Waterpoint Urban Area, Ben Luc, covering an area of 6 hectares, and is the largest international standard bilingual boarding school in the Western region. In phase one, the school has an investment of more than 750 billion VND.

According to Dr. Huynh Cong Minh - General Principal of Emasi School System and Founding Principal of Emasi Plus Waterpoint, the school's educational program integrates the Ministry's new general education program and the Cambridge program. Students learn by theme and work on projects to develop teamwork, independent work and self-learning skills.

Bilingualism is integrated into daily teaching and learning activities at the school. According to the school board, the integrated foreign language teaching method is calculated to encourage the process of acquiring and building global understanding for students. "Growing up from Emasi Plus Waterpoint Campus, students will be global citizens who are fluent in both Vietnamese and English. We guide students to multidimensional logical thinking, the ability to appreciate art, apply scientific practices to life and master new technology trends," the school representative shared.

With the boarding model, Emasi Plus applies to students from grades 6 to 12. The school learns from successful boarding models in the world to apply to Vietnamese students, focusing on academic development as well as physical and mental health.

After school, students can participate in many extracurricular activities, club activities, social interactions, entertainment, and spend time studying and developing themselves. According to research from the Association of Boarding Secondary Schools (TABS), 77% of students graduating from boarding schools feel better prepared with skills for university life and their future development journey. "Their daily lives will be rich with many healthy activities. We believe that boarding life helps students always have an energetic spirit and positive energy on the journey to explore the life around them," the school representative shared.

To ensure the boarding experience for students, Emasi Plus invested in a building block with international standards to develop into a boarding apartment complex. According to the announcement, the apartment complex is equipped with modern facilities with many high-class amenities. Each apartment has a common living space, equipped with air conditioning, washing machine, dryer, refrigerator, TV, etc. Students will be arranged in groups of 4-6 people per apartment. School leaders believe that with the current model, students receive many benefits. First, they have more time to talk with teachers and access resources outside of school hours. Boarding also saves travel time so students can rest more, saving energy for development and extracurricular activities.

Students also learn independence and responsibility by managing and arranging their own schedules and becoming part of the community. Many extracurricular events, sports, trips, picnics, festivals and community projects are organized by the school to help students develop leadership skills and multidimensional thinking.

Artist Trinh Kim Chi has a child studying at the Emasi school system since kindergarten. In addition to the knowledge and bilingual program, what impressed her was the series of extracurricular activities that helped her child develop soft skills, become bold, confident, know how to share, and care for those around him. "When my child comes home, he is almost no longer under pressure from schoolwork because he has been guided by teachers since he was in class. Instead, he has more time to participate in activities, develop his thinking and personality," said Ms. Chi.

Sharing the reason for choosing Waterpoint, Ben Luc, Long An, Mr. Nguyen Tuyen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Khai Sang Coporation, investor of Emasi Plus, said that this is a large-scale urban area, 350 hectares wide with good infrastructure, enough space to build an international standard school. Besides, the location adjacent to Ho Chi Minh City, the gateway to the West is also convenient for the school to attract students in the Southern region. "We expect this to be a dream school, training future seeds, not only in the Western provinces but also in Ho Chi Minh City and across the country," said Mr. Tuyen.

Emasi Plus Waterpoint Campus is a school belonging to the Emasi school system initiated by Khai Sang Corporation. In 2023, Emasi received the Great Education Award from BritCham (British Chamber of Commerce) - recognizing the school's pioneering role in integrating the arts into education. Emasi Plus is enrolling students for the 2024-2025 school year.
