Tran Phu High School opens new school year

Colonel Dinh Hong Tieng, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of Lam Dong Provincial Military Command attended the opening ceremony of the 2025 - 2026 school year at Tran Phu High School.

Also attending the Opening Ceremony were representatives of the Department of Education and Training; local government leaders and more than 700 teachers and students of the school.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the school's staff, teachers and students have strived to overcome difficulties and achieved many outstanding results. The high school graduation rate of the whole school reached 98.87%.

The school's education quality has made remarkable progress. The percentage of good and excellent students has increased year by year. The percentage of weak and poor students has decreased significantly. In particular, the work of nurturing excellent students has received attention with many achievements, including: 6 provincial-level Excellent Student Awards, 7 Olympic Awards, 1 Second Prize in the Science and Technology Competition, 13 awards at the National Defense - Security Sports Festival, 6 awards in the Geopark Research Competition and 5 English Speaking Awards.

The school has innovated teaching methods, increased the application of information technology, encouraged students to be proactive and creative, promoted experiential activities, career guidance, and scientific research. Moral education and life skills are emphasized, combined with preventing school violence, building a safe and friendly learning environment.

In particular, from the second semester, the school stopped teaching and learning extra classes on a large scale, only organizing review classes for 12th grade students, reducing financial pressure on parents and students.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Tran Phu High School has 719 students in 16 classes. Of which, 328 students are ethnic minorities, accounting for more than 50% of the total.

In the new school year, the school aims for comprehensive education, focusing on training ethics, life skills, practical skills and a sense of social responsibility. At the same time, it organizes a variety of cultural, artistic, physical and sports activities to create a dynamic and healthy learning environment.

At the Opening Ceremony, Colonel Dinh Hong Tieng acknowledged and commended the outstanding achievements of Tran Phu High School in the 2024-2025 school year.

He suggested that the school should comprehensively reform education and improve teaching quality. At the same time, it should improve facilities and build a green, clean, beautiful and safe school environment.

He emphasized that schools need to promote teachers' initiative and creativity and close coordination between schools, parents and local authorities to improve the quality of comprehensive education.
