Ms. Le Thuy Chi, Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City, said that the unit is implementing a project to preserve and restore the historical relic of the burial site of Ms. Hoang Thi Loan, Uncle Ho's mother, at Ban Mountain, An Cuu Ward.
The project will renovate many items such as the stele house, steps, and yard in front of the stele house. The road leading to the relic site will be widened, repaired, and paved.

The investor will also build a new entrance gate to the relic with reinforced concrete and a roof covered with yellow glazed tiles; build a retaining wall at the entrance gate; and repair the relic's signpost.
In addition, the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue city also renovated the landscape, built soft fences adjacent to households, planted additional shade trees and fruit trees in vacant land; equipped with stone benches, installed lighting systems along the paths, watering systems, and security cameras.

According to the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue city, the burial site of Ms. Hoang Thi Loan was recognized as a provincial historical relic since 2008.
Previously, in 1990, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth, Hue city built a memorial stele for Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan right on the site of her old grave.
By 2023, this relic site will continue to be renovated, the landscape will be expanded, walking paths and resting places will be built, and more suitable flowers and shade trees will be planted.
Over the past 35 years, the memorial stele has been managed and restored by the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City, becoming a meaningful spiritual relic site in memory of Uncle Ho's mother.
According to historical documents, Ms. Hoang Thi Loan was born in the year of Mau Thin (1868), in Hoang Tru village, Kim Lien commune (old Nam Dan district), Nghe An province.
In 1881, she married Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac and gave birth to three children: Nguyen Thi Thanh, Nguyen Sinh Khiem and Nguyen Sinh Cung (President Ho Chi Minh).
In 1895, Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan and her husband brought their two sons, Nguyen Sinh Khiem and Nguyen Sinh Cung, to Hue to live in the Citadel house (now the Uncle Ho Memorial House, No. 158 Mai Thuc Loan, Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City).
On February 10, 1901, she fell seriously ill and passed away. She was buried on the slope of Ban mountain, Thuy An commune (now An Cuu ward, Hue city).
In 1922, her remains were brought back to her hometown of Nghe An by her daughter Nguyen Thi Thanh for burial.
