Van Noi village is a rural area with a cultural and revolutionary tradition. Here is the historical and cultural relic of the Memorial House of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, the mother of President Ho Chi Minh - a cultural address with profound educational significance about the source of tradition; respected and preserved by the people and local authorities.
To promote and enhance the historical and cultural values, the locality has a policy to expand the Relic Site. After evaluation and discussion, the locality proposed a plan to move Hung Khanh Pagoda, which is adjacent to the Relic Site, to a planned area of nearly 4,300 m2 .
Mr. Hoang Tuan Hai, Party Cell Secretary, Head of Van Noi village, said: Hung Khanh Pagoda is currently over 1,000 m2 wide, and is a place for religious activities of local people. However, the entire land area of the current pagoda is located in the planned area to expand the historical-cultural relic site of Hoang Thi Loan Memorial House. To implement the plan to expand the relic site, the locality has met with the pagoda, and at the same time organized announcements and propaganda to help the people in the village understand the purpose and significance of moving the pagoda and expanding the relic site. After propaganda and collecting people's opinions, up to now, the pagoda and nearly 98% of households in Van Noi village agree with the relocation and rebuilding of Hung Khanh Pagoda to a new location, and at the same time wish to soon implement the project to expand the relic site.
Mr. Hoang Van Ngoc, a resident of Van Noi village, said: When hearing the news that the pagoda needs to be moved to a new location and the relic site needs to be expanded, my family was very happy and fully supported the local government's policy. Because this is an opportunity for the relics in the area to be restored, embellished, upgraded, and built more beautifully. Thereby, not only raising the level The value of the relics also creates highlights to attract tourists from all over to visit, explore and experience...
After consulting with the people, there were still 11 citizens with nearly 3,385 m2 of agricultural land out of a total of nearly 4,300 m2 in the area that needed to be recovered to build the new Hung Khanh pagoda who submitted a petition, wondering whether moving the pagoda to a new location was really appropriate, whether the recovered land would be compensated...? After being informed about the significance of moving and rebuilding a more spacious and beautiful pagoda as well as the State's regulations when recovering land, 2 households voluntarily withdrew their petitions.
In order to soon implement the relocation of Hung Khanh Pagoda and the expansion of the historical and cultural relic area of Hoang Thi Loan Memorial House, on September 15, the People's Committee of Viet Tien Commune organized a dialogue to listen to, inform and answer the opinions and suggestions of households in Van Noi village.
