Outdoor exhibition space of Hung Vuong Museum, facility 2.
Right from the museum gate, the spacious open space of the outdoor campus attracts visitors with large military artifacts, bearing the mark of wartime and national pride. With the outdoor space, the planes and tanks are not only displayed artifacts, but also a place where memories create a vivid historical educational space for young people to stop, listen, and reflect.
Gallery - Communication staff introduces the exhibition booth "Unfading Memories".
Right on the first floor of the museum is the special exhibition "Unfading Memories" - a special exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and the 50th anniversary of the end of the Southern Student School model in the North.
With more than 300 valuable artifacts, documents, and images scientifically arranged, combining light, sound, and display art, vividly recreating the heroic years but full of humanity. The displays lead viewers through many stages: the harshness of war, the journey of sowing "red seeds", memories of students far from home, the maturity of the Southern youth, and the heavy gratitude to the people of the North.
Tour guide Pham Xuan Hai - an officer of the Exhibition and Communication Department who has been associated with the Museum for many years, led us through each room. His voice was warm: "The artifacts here not only tell the story of a time, but also remind us of the spirit of North - South solidarity, of the strength of national love and compatriotism"...
Nguyen Minh Anh, a grade 11 student from Vinh Yen ward, shared with pride: “We only know about the Southern Student School through books. Now that I have seen with my own eyes the handwriting, clothes, and letters of the previous generation, I feel moved. I appreciate today’s peace even more and tell myself to study well to be worthy of the tradition.”
Those simple confessions are vivid proof of the influence of an exhibition space, where historical memories are awakened, inspiring the young generation.
Many students and tourists visit the museum.
Since its inception in 2000, the Museum has coordinated with Central and provincial museums, clubs and socio-political organizations to organize thousands of thematic exhibitions and grassroots exhibitions inside and outside the province. And today's Hung Vuong Museum, facility 2, is the result of the process of arrangement and merger, both streamlining the apparatus and promoting operational efficiency. Located on the campus that President Ho Chi Minh visited on March 2, 1963, the museum currently preserves over 16,000 diverse and rich artifacts. In particular, this place also owns the national treasure Chua Tro Ceramic Tower - a testament to the brilliance of Vinh Phuc culture (old). The exhibition spaces are designed in a modern, logical manner, applying audio-visual technology to help visitors have a visual experience. The exhibition system is regularly renewed and supplemented with new exhibits to avoid monotony and attract a large number of visitors.
Many precious artifacts are displayed at Hung Vuong Museum, facility 2.
Presently, the Museum continues to maintain exhibitions according to the following themes: Phu Tho - natural landscape, homeland of the ancient Vietnamese; Cultural life of the people of all ethnic groups; Tradition of the people's struggle to build and defend the country from the beginning of the Christian era to 1930; Revolutionary movement of the people in the period of 1930 - 1945; during the resistance war against France (1946 - 1954); the cause of building socialism and unifying the country (1954 - 1975); during the period of implementing the two strategic tasks of building and defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the period of industrialization and modernization.
The special thing about Hung Vuong Museum, Campus 2, is not only the rich artifacts, but also the message directed to the community, especially the young generation. Each tour is a vivid history lesson, helping students better understand the tradition of fighting to build and defend the country and the profound human values of the nation. Each artifact is a story. When students listen and feel, they are continuing the tradition, turning memories into motivation to build the country today.
According to statistics, since the beginning of the year, the Museum has organized many typical thematic exhibitions, including "Dong Dau Archaeological Imprints", "Ho Chi Minh - Portrait of a Man"... The Museum also participated in exhibitions in many provinces and cities, contributing to promoting the image of Phu Tho culture to friends across the country.
From the theme "Unfading Memories" and many upcoming activities such as the exhibition "Traditional Crafts and Craft Villages of Phu Tho", lifelong learning festivals... show that the Museum is constantly innovating its content and form to serve the public, turning this place into a "red address" for traditional education. In the coming time, Hung Vuong Museum, branch 2, will continue to focus on improving the quality of exhibitions, organizing educational topics and connecting with the community. Along with that, the work of preserving and restoring artifacts, perfecting the infrastructure of the exhibition room, and ensuring safety will also be focused on. Expanding connections with travel companies and building tourism products associated with heritage will create more momentum for the museum to become an attractive destination in the Land of Ancestors. With this direction, Hung Vuong Museum, Campus 2, is not only a place to preserve memories, but also a creative space, spreading culture, contributing with Phu Tho province to build a civilized, rich-in-identity, livable environment in the new period.
