4 students hospitalized after making homemade firecrackers

On January 3, 2025, the People's Committee of Ia Krai commune, Ia Grai district, Gia Lai province, reported on the case of 4 students studying at a junior high school in the commune who went online to order materials and then made fireworks at home, resulting in injuries that required emergency treatment at the hospital.

Accordingly, at 5:38 p.m. on January 1, in Doch Ia Krot village, Ia Krai commune, a firecracker accident occurred at the house of Mr. Vu Van T. (born in 1978).

It is known that Vu D.Ph (born in 2010, son of Mr. T.), ordered materials online with the purpose of making fireworks himself. Then, Ph. invited Nguyen Th. D (born in 2013), To Q.Tr (born in 2013) and Nguyen MT (born in 2013), who are students, all living in Doch Ia Krot village, Ia Krai commune, to come to his house to make fireworks together.
