Early in the morning of the second day of the Giap Thin Lunar New Year (February 11), a large number of people and tourists were present at Phu Hoi village, Trieu An commune, Trieu Phong district, to watch the dragon boat racing. Mr. Nguyen Quang Sang, Head of Phu Hoi village, said that the Dragon Boat Racing Festival in 2024 is a traditional sport activity to create a playground on the homeland's rivers and improve the spiritual life of people and tourists. The dragon boat racing festival is organized on a large scale and with high quality. In particular, the village has made a large investment in coordinating with a specialized event organization unit to conduct livestreams on social networking sites to introduce and promote the traditional beauty of the homeland, while meeting the needs of people everywhere.
The festival was attended by nearly 100 athletes from 6 teams of Phu Hoi village, Ha Tay village and An Xuan village; competing in the seasonal tournament, the division tournament and the division tournament at a distance of 3 km. The festival took place in an exciting and attractive atmosphere with the cheers of the people, creating a joyful sporting atmosphere during the traditional Tet holiday of the nation.

In addition, many traditional sports and folk games were organized in festivals such as: Nhi Trung village (Gio Hai commune) organized a traditional Swing Festival and tug-of-war, stick pushing, volleyball; An My village (Gio My commune) organized a traditional Cu Festival in the early spring...
The early spring weather is ideal for organizing sports tournaments in Dong Ha City. From early morning on the 4th day of Tet, many people in Dong Giang Ward happily came to watch the traditional boat race on Hoi Song. This year's tournament was organized on a large scale and quality, gathering 85 athletes from 7 teams in Dong Giang Ward. The tournament created many attractive and impressive chases on the green race track of Hoi Song; the athletes fought side by side with the encouragement and cheering of the people.
Also within the framework of sports activities celebrating the Party and the Spring of Giap Thin - 2024, on the morning of the 4th day of Tet, Dai Ang quarter, Dong Luong ward, Dong Ha city organized a traditional football tournament in early spring 2024, gathering more than 80 players from 6 football teams. These are beautiful cultural and sporting features that have been preserved for many years every time Tet comes and spring comes.

According to the reporter's records, since the 4th day of Tet, mass sports activities have taken place simultaneously and enthusiastically across the scale of districts, towns, cities, villages and neighborhoods. With the participation of party committees, authorities, businesses and people, from urban to rural areas, from mountainous areas to islands, many football tournaments, volleyball tournaments, traditional boat racing, traditional wrestling, tug of war, stick pushing and many folk games have taken place enthusiastically... These activities attracted thousands of people to watch, cheer and compete.

Sports activities in early spring 2024 took place enthusiastically and widely, in which professionalism in organization and management stood out; the scale and quality of grassroots tournaments were improved; attention was paid to investing in improving the image quality of tournaments through livestreaming and commenting on tournaments; the socialization of physical education and sports was carried out effectively, especially mobilizing resources from the people to take care of the mass sports movement.
