Tung Duong 'transforms' into a National Defense soldier, sings 'Continue the story of peace'

When singer Tung Duong first sang “Continuing the story of peace ” in the national concert “Fatherland in the heart,” he created an “earthquake” in the Vietnamese music industry because 50,000 audiences sang along with the singer.

That special feeling urged singer Tung Duong to release the MV “Continuing the story of peace,” joining the atmosphere of the whole country heading towards the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Appearing as a National Defense soldier, Tung Duong performed the song with a heroic, strong and emotional voice.

From the composer's perspective, musician Nguyen Van Chung expressed his respect and gratitude to the singers who performed "Continuing the story of peace" - each of them brought their own unique nuances to the song and had their own audience.

However, after witnessing and enjoying Tung Duong's performance at the national concert, he impartially assessed that the male singer was the one who expressed the spirit of this song most accurately, exactly what he wanted to convey when composing it.

Sharing at the MV launch on August 25, musician Nguyen Van Chung said that this is a song that is both emotional, heroic and powerful. If any aspect is missing, it would not be okay.

“Tung Duong's version is the most complete in both the lyrics and the spirit of the song, like a musical call. It is not easy to make 50,000 spectators feel excited and want to sing along, only an artist with an extremely strong inner strength and energy, combining both technique and emotion, can do that,” the musician expressed.

As for Tung Duong, the Vietnamese music divo said the song touched his heart, making him very emotional every time he sang.

“I made this MV out of my deep love for my homeland. In addition to the stage performance, such a special song should have an MV to connect the images and stories from war to peace,” Tung Duong shared.

The MV "Continuing the story of peace" once again records the successful collaboration between musician Nguyen Huu Vuong and singer Tung Duong.

Musician Nguyen Huu Vuong said he wanted the song to have a full and rolling atmosphere in the arrangement, the music needed to be heroic to promote the national spirit, but as the national spirit of the new era, the music needed to have a modern color.

In charge of the visual part of the MV is young director Nguyen Viet Dung - who made the success of the MV "Colorful Vietnam" by Tung Duong and the Oplus group in 2024. The MV has the participation of actress Lan Thy - "muse" Bich Diem in the movie "Em va Trinh."

The MV will be released onTung Duong's YouTube at 7:30 p.m. on August 25./.
