Viewers watching the movie "My Father, the One Who Stays" were delighted to see actor Trung Ruoi in the role of Mr. Chien - uncle of Viet (Thai Vu) and Nguyen (Tran Nghia).

However, many people were surprised to know that Trung Ruoi and Tran Nghia are the same age, both born in 1993. In the movie, Trung Ruoi plays the role of an experienced, mature uncle while Tran Nghia plays... a high school student.

Actor Trung Ruoi reluctantly shared: "Tran Nghia and I are the same age, both born in the year of the Rooster. Yet in the movie "My Father, the One Who Stays", director Vu Truong Khoa let me play the role of an uncle - the same age as Nghia's father, and Nghia played the role of a high school student."

In addition, in the film, Trung Ruoi also plays the role of the brother of Meritorious Artist Kieu Anh (Quyen), while in real life, Trung Ruoi is one generation younger than his senior.

"I feel so sorry for myself!", Trung Ruoi humorously recounted Kieu Anh's role as his brother.

Trung Ruoi's role did not appear much on screen but played an important role in influencing the psychology of Viet. When meeting his nephew again, Mr. Chien taught Viet to live with respect because he was just a child who depended on others because he was abandoned by his biological mother.

Mr. Chien also had conflicts with Mr. Binh (Meritorious Artist Thai Son) and Chinh (Meritorious Artist Bui Nhu Lai) - the two adoptive fathers of Viet and Nguyen.
