Tuyen Quang aims to become a developed, high-income province by 2045

Speaking at the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Congress, Mr. Do Van Chien, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, emphasized that Tuyen Quang strives to be a developed, high-income province by 2045.

On the morning of September 24, at the Tuyen Quang Provincial Conference Center, comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, on behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat, attended and delivered a speech at the 1st Congress of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

In his speech directing the Congress, comrade Do Van Chien emphasized that the 1st Congress of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 is a particularly important political event. The Congress not only attracts the deep attention of cadres, party members and people, but is also considered a historical milestone, laying the foundation for the development of the province in the new term and orienting the next stages.

Comrade Do Van Chien emphasized that Tuyen Quang strives to be a developed, high-income province by 2045.

According to comrade Do Van Chien, in the past term, the Party Committees of Ha Giang (old) and Tuyen Quang (old) provinces made many efforts to overcome all difficulties, unite, strive and achieve many important and quite comprehensive results.

Tuyen Quang province (old) has completed 15/15 targets, Ha Giang (old) has completed 14/17 targets. Focusing on investment in infrastructure, especially transport infrastructure, education, health care, and culture continue to develop, quality is gradually improved, the rate of multidimensional poverty is rapidly and quite sustainably reduced. Tens of thousands of poor and near-poor households are supported to eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing.

Tuyen Quang province has completed the arrangement and streamlining of the political system's apparatus according to the 2-level local government model, opening up a new development space with larger scale, potential and advantages; initially, the apparatus operates smoothly, effectively, efficiently, close to the people, proactively serving the people and creating development. National defense and security work has been consolidated and enhanced; a national defense posture has been built, associated with a people's security posture and a solid people's hearts posture...

On behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat, comrade Do Van Chien acknowledged, congratulated and commended the valuable and proud achievements that the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of all ethnic groups in the province have achieved in the past term.

In addition, comrade Do Van Chien suggested that the Congress promote democracy, concentrate intelligence, and discuss enthusiastically to come up with practical and feasible solutions. He emphasized the need to strongly arouse the aspiration to rise up in cadres, party members and people, exploit the province's potential and strengths to the fullest, mobilize resources inside and outside the locality, take science and technology and innovation as the driving force, solidarity as the strength, strive to achieve the target of double-digit economic growth, contributing to the overall breakthrough of the country.

The Provincial Party Committee needs to concretize the Central Committee's policies and resolutions, especially the new Resolutions of the Politburo, into feasible goals, tasks, and solutions, and implement them resolutely to create clear results.

The focus is on breakthroughs in resource mobilization, investment in transport infrastructure, digital infrastructure, energy, irrigation, education and modern, synchronous health care. Along with that is developing human resources, improving people's knowledge, training talents, investing in building and renovating schools, ensuring there is no shortage of teachers and classrooms in disadvantaged areas. Poverty reduction must be associated with taking care of people's livelihoods, exploiting production potential, creating branded products, building Tuyen Quang into a major wood processing center of the region; at the same time developing tea, medicinal herbs, fruit trees, raising livestock, promoting tourism associated with culture and revolutionary historical relics. Along with that is a breakthrough in administrative reform, improving the investment environment, taking the satisfaction of people and businesses as a measure.

According to comrade Do Van Chien, the province needs to strengthen Party building and rectification, build a clean and strong Party organization in all aspects; promote democracy, collective intelligence associated with individual responsibility; improve leadership capacity, vanguard and exemplary role of cadres, especially leaders; continue to streamline the organization, operate effectively and efficiently; build a team of dedicated, visionary and dedicated cadres.

Chairman Do Van Chien noted that cadres and party members, especially leaders, need to thoroughly grasp and well implement the direction of General Secretary To Lam with the motto "3 close: close to the people, close to the grassroots, close to the digital space"; "5 musts: must listen, must dialogue, must set an example, must take responsibility, must report results"; "4 nos: No formalities, no avoidance, no shirking, no wrong functions; act more, more practically, bring trust and smiles to the people.

He also requested the province to regularly strengthen national defense and security, strictly manage borders, maintain sovereignty, build a solid defense zone, ensure political security, social order and safety; resolutely prevent and combat corruption and negativity, while protecting and encouraging those who dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility for the common good. Immediately after the Congress, the Provincial Party Executive Committee needs to urgently issue an Action Program with the spirit of "6 clear": clear work, clear authority, clear responsibility, clear time, clear resources, clear results; organize implementation resolutely and effectively, bring the Resolution into life, meet the expectations of cadres, party members and people.

At the Congress, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien expressed his deep confidence in the success of the event, and hoped that the contingent of cadres, party members, soldiers of the armed forces and people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province, the "fence" land of the northernmost tip of the Fatherland, would continue to promote revolutionary traditions and heroic spirit, take advantage of favorable opportunities, overcome difficulties and challenges, and unite to build the homeland to develop more and more.

Comrade Do Van Chien emphasized: "We will definitely strive to make Tuyen Quang a fairly developed, comprehensive, sustainable province with high average income by 2030; and by 2045, become a developed, high-income province in the midland and mountainous region of the North."
