Propaganda to prevent and combat fraud crimes in cyberspace

The Economic Security Department in coordination with the Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department (Thai Nguyen Provincial Police) has just organized propaganda on preventing and combating fraud crimes in cyberspace for more than 200 officers, employees and workers of Thang Long Mineral Exploitation and Construction Investment Joint Stock Company.

Officers, employees and workers of Thang Long Mineral Exploitation and Construction Investment Joint Stock Company were educated on preventing and combating high-tech crimes.

At the propaganda session, officers of the Department of Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention and Control quickly informed about the situation of cybercrime in Vietnam and Thai Nguyen province in recent times; disseminated basic contents of the Law on Cyber ​​Security, skills to use social networks safely, protect personal information; how to identify and fight against bad and toxic information, false information; how to recognize forms of online fraud such as: investment fraud in stock exchanges, virtual currency, multi-level marketing; fraud in the form of recruiting collaborators for e-commerce platforms, easy jobs with high salaries; impersonating the Police, the Procuracy, the Court to call and request money transfers and then appropriate property; measures to prevent and handle this type of crime.

Thereby equipping important and useful knowledge, raising awareness, consciousness and responsibility of officers, employees, workers and security forces of the Company in preventing, detecting, fighting and effectively stopping violations of the law in general and preventing and combating high-tech crimes in particular.
